Captain Stringman's voice attracted the small monster, which was three or four meters tall. It turned around and stared blankly at Stringman and Red Kai. The two recognized him as well, "Silbagon?!"
He drew his weapon and aimed it at the Silvergon. The captain of the Stringmen was about to tell everyone to run when he heard his son's voice, "Dad, no! It's not an enemy!"
Not the enemy? Genji frowned, only then noticing that there were many small Bogaru corpses around, though their deaths were rather gruesome, as they had all been torn apart by brute force.
“Captain Stringman, this Silvergon is definitely not an enemy. It took us some time to get here, and it was probably it that protected these people.”
Red Kai and String Man had no choice but to put down their weapons. There was nothing they could do. Although the Silvergon in front of them was different in size and appearance from the one they had recorded before, it was definitely Silvergon.
"Dad!" Jun threw himself into his father's arms. Captain Gento's hands trembled as he held him. His son had just gone through those things yesterday, and now he was facing this situation again. He must be terrified.
"Are you injured?"
“No.” Chun didn’t seem too frightened. “Our training instructor was an Icarus alien. He said he was going to leave us here as food for the small Bogaru.”
Icarus aliens? Gentoo and Gai both know that ever since Balgi appeared, the TPC archives have compiled information on all the aliens and monsters in the Ultraman series for them to see.
Seeing Gento and Jun, a little boy couldn't help but cry, "Waaah... Daddy..."
"Don't cry, Zhenye," another older girl comforted her younger brother. "Mom and Dad will be alright."
Gento was somewhat surprised, and Jun explained the situation:
"That was the family we met when we came in. We were being chased by a Bogaru, and his parents chose to stay behind to hold off the monster in order to buy us time to escape."
"Besides them, there were two other teachers leading the group and an older sister who was camping in the wild. They were also there to distract these monsters for us..."
After listening, Captain Stringman understood why there were only children here. He patted Chun on the head and said, "They are all good. Now I need to rescue you first."
"Captain, let's find a safe place for the children first. This Hillbagon seems to be telling us to follow it."
As for the intelligence of this monster, Hilbagun, well... it's a bit simple-minded, but it's definitely not stupid. Although it couldn't understand what Gento and the others were saying, it waved to them and pointed in a direction, clearly telling them to follow.
"Captain, should we go with them?" Red Kai was a little uneasy, but Silvergon hadn't shown any hostility earlier.
"Follow along. It seems to be protecting the children. We know nothing about this place, and we don't know where to hide. You stay behind and act according to the situation."
It was said to be a matter of acting according to circumstances, but in reality, it meant that Gai could directly transform into Ultraman if necessary, and Gai understood Gento's meaning.
Although Hilbargon had a history of hostility, he seemed more acceptable and less terrifying than a small Bogaru, and he had just saved everyone, so although everyone was a little scared, they were still willing to follow him.
They only saw one or two small Bogaru along the way, but before Gentoo and Kai could make a move, they were killed by Little Silvergon. Silvergon seemed to hate these things very much.
At the same time, Chun also recounted what had happened to them. The Icarus alien had disguised himself as the team leader and deliberately tricked them into coming here, saying that he would use them as food for the miniature Bogaru, and that there was only one exit here.
If it's supposed to be rations, why go to the extra trouble of mentioning another exit? Captain Stringman sensed that things weren't so simple.
After walking for a while, Hilbagun led the group to a cave. The cave was not big, and Hilbagun himself had to crawl in on his stomach. He looked rather cute, which calmed the children's anxiety somewhat.
After entering the cave and walking for quite a while, the group finally arrived at an empty cavern. There, they saw another enormous Hilbargon, about 60 or 70 meters long, which was severely injured.
The large Hilbagun merely glanced at the Stringmen and then ignored them. The little Hilbagun quickly ran over and squeaked a few times.
"It seems to be its father or mother, but it's quite different from the one we fought back then." Captain Stringman felt that the Silvergon from back then was stronger.
"Maybe it's a difference in gender." Hong Kai only hoped that the Silvergon from back then and the two in front of him were not from the same family. Until now, they hadn't realized that the Silvergon might be different.
"It's a pity I didn't bring a monster language translation machine, otherwise I would have known what happened here."
Captain Stringman was quite helpless. The current situation was not optimistic, but he and Hong Kai absolutely could not show any frustration or disappointment in front of the children.
"Don't worry, we'll wait here for now. Hong Kai, go find a place to fire the third signal flare and call everyone over. Be careful."
With Red Kai's abilities, the small Bogaru poses no threat to him. The String People need to stay here to protect the children, provide them with emotional support, and also prevent Sylvagon from harming anyone.
Hongkai ran out of the cave and, just in case, ran for several more minutes, observing the situation along the way. He discovered that there were relatively few small Bogaru in this area, perhaps because the presence of the large Sylvagon made them afraid to approach without permission.
After running for a long time, about twenty kilometers, Hong Kai fired two signal flares into the sky. Leo, who had knocked down a small Bogaru, looked up and was somewhat surprised.
"Signal flare number three is being used in conjunction with signal flare number two... Hmm... they're gathering 20 kilometers in the direction signal flare number two is falling. Did they run that far?"
"They might have found someone, Vice Captain. Let's hurry over there."
"Hmm, fine." Leo slapped the small Bogaru across the face, making it open its mouth in anger, and then Leo stuffed a grenade into its mouth and threw it away.
Leo's fighting style was rather... brutal, but Fujiwara Juri didn't object. When they arrived, she and Leo saw many skeletons, all of them with gruesome deaths, showing that they had been tortured before they died.
This has led to Leo's anger escalating, to the point that even Emperor has chosen to remain silent. Leo is most terrifying when he is enraged; he doesn't show it on his face, but his actions speak for themselves.
None of the smaller Bogaru here will survive after today. Leo has even planned to have Galakron throw Galaoguma over for a massive purge.
"These monsters must have a mastermind behind them, manipulating them in the dark, but... why torture humans? What's the point?"
Leo could actually sense the gaze on his back; someone was observing him and Fujiwara Juri, but he couldn't bring himself to say it.
Fujiwara Juri could also sense that someone was spying on her from the shadows. After all, she had recovered the most strength. But Leo was just an ordinary person. She couldn't just say that she had discovered someone spying on her from the shadows.
"Fujiwara, it's time to go." Leo pressed the last small Bogaru to the ground and punched it several times. He then looked at Fujiwara Juri. For a child (in appearance), this was indeed a bit excessive, but Fujiwara felt that Leo was still just an ordinary person.
There's nothing we can do about it; Leo usually performs exceptionally well, so this isn't surprising.
She is, after all, Ultraman Justice, and she has regained so much power; she couldn't possibly have misjudged this, could she?
On the other side, Komon and Imu quickly deduced the instructions and headed towards the rendezvous point. Imu glanced back, and the shadow hiding behind them disappeared again.
"These guys are really cautious," the Icarus alien thought to himself. He and his companions followed behind these humans, and they were almost discovered several times.
"Number 223, how are things on your end?"
"The humans on my side are planning to gather; it should be in the territory of that Silvergon."
"Come back first. That person said there's Ultraman among these humans. The other people who are tracking him are saying that the person they're tracking is very likely Ultraman. What about you?"
Upon learning that ESCG had Ultraman, the Iskar aliens immediately devised a plan to lure the entire team in using Captain Stringman's son, while simultaneously observing who was most likely to be Ultraman.
“I think this one on my side is the most likely.” The Iskar alien, who was in charge of tracking Leo and Fujiwara, couldn’t help but swallow hard as he watched Leo beat a small Bogaru that had charged out to death.
"They just look too young, and their methods don't seem like those of someone from the Land of Light."
"Maybe this is how the local Ultraman on Earth are. If they're from the Land of Light, maybe Ultraman Ace taught them."
Chapter 175 Careless Hilbargon
In a hidden dimension, the Icarus aliens' spaceship lay dormant. After observing from the shadows for a long time, a group of Icarus aliens gathered together. "Who do you think is Ultraman among these people?"
"I think the one named Hong Kai is the most likely. That guy runs faster than me; I almost couldn't keep up with him!"
"I think the one named Takayama Gamu is the most likely; he almost discovered me,"
"Why can't it be Hiruma Gento? He's the captain."
"Are you stupid? From the original Ultraman to Ultraman Ace, which of their human hosts was the captain?" The leader of the Icarus aliens was speechless at his subordinate who couldn't summarize or analyze.
"As an Ultraman, you have to be on the front line to transform and fight in time. If you become the captain, wouldn't you just be sitting in the back?"
“I think I’m the most likely.” Alien Icarus 223 raised his hand and played a video of Leo.
The other Icarus aliens frowned when they saw Leo's appearance. "I mean, 223, you're being way too unreliable. He's just a kid..."
Watching Leo grab the small Bogaru by the tail, swing it away, and then beat it mercilessly, even shoving the gun barrel into the small Bogaru's mouth, the dozen or so Icarus aliens fell silent. Could a child really do something like this?
"I just compared the list and found that this person should be Leo, the vice captain of ESCG, but I don't know why he has become smaller."
"The vice-captain needs to be on the front lines, and this guy... doesn't seem like a human being. He must have been trained by Ultraman Ace."
Upon hearing that it was possible the trainees were trained by Ultraman Ace, the other Icarus aliens, including their leader, all understood. They were all familiar with Ultraman Ace's methods.
"Then this person must be Ultraman, otherwise there's no way to explain this fighting power."
With the leader having spoken, there wasn't much else to say. Although the other ESCG members also possessed terrifyingly strong physical abilities, the Earthlings on this planet were inherently full of absurdities. However, one Icarus alien offered a different perspective.
"Aren't there many Ultramen on this planet? Could there be other Ultramen in this team?"
"That's true, but there are a lot of defense forces on Earth, a dozen or twenty of them. What defense force would have so many Ultraman characters for no reason?"
After discussing for a while, the Icarus aliens came to a general conclusion: it's impossible for everyone in a team to be an Ultraman. They only need to control Leo first, and even if there are one or two Ultramen left, they won't pose much of a threat to them.
"Think of a way to trap that guy named Leo alone and use the extradimensional generator to prevent him from transforming into Ultraman."
"We'll deal with the other humans later. This time, let's kill that Hilbargon while we're at it, but try to capture the little one alive. Its master said it has good potential."
A group of Icarus aliens quickly got to work, and Icarus alien number 223 couldn't help but ask his leader, "Leader, why doesn't that person just tell us which one of these people is Ultraman?"
"You don't understand. That man fought against the three legendary Ultra Kings, Legend and Noah. Although he lost, he was still honorable. However, he was seriously injured and is still recuperating."
While marveling at how amazing that person was, Alien Icarus 223 went about his own business, while their leader wiped his sweat, thinking that at least he had managed to get away with it.
There's no way around it; we can't exactly say that the great one is still trapped in the seal and can only vaguely perceive the outside world. He doesn't know what happened back then, but anyway, that great one's strength is far greater than that of Emperor or anyone else.
Meanwhile, Leo and the others finally reunited. Seeing that everyone was safe and sound, they all breathed a sigh of relief. However, Leo's appearance was a complete surprise to Gento and the others; having Leo in this state participate in the battle was truly...
"So this thing really is a miniature Bogaru?" After hearing Gento's explanation, Leo, who was still holding a tail in his hand, threw away the miniature Bogaru that he had been dragging all the way and was almost dead.
"Vice-Captain, are you really human?" This was the common question in everyone's mind. It was mainly because of the fighting power that Leo had displayed. Even in this era of human development, he seemed a bit too fierce.
"It should be, but we don't know what the Icarus aliens' purpose is yet."
"Shall we ask them what's going on?" Leo pointed to the two Silvergons, one big and one small. The smaller one thought Leo was calling it and came running over happily, looking down at him with interest.
“Vice-Captain, this Silvergon seems to really like you.” Komon looked at the little Silvergon and, realizing that lowering his head was too high, simply lay down in front of Leo so that he could look him in the eye.
How to put it... Leo felt like he was seeing a shadow of Dimaga, especially this posture of begging to be petted. Leo rubbed the little guy's head with his hand while wondering if his attraction to monsters had increased a lot. He felt that even the injured Big Silvergon was quite fond of him.
"But we didn't bring a monster language translator."
"It's alright, I brought it with me. It's the latest model that Dr. Otomo gave me when I left. The electronic interference here doesn't seem to be too severe, so it should work."
Leo then took out a translator slightly larger than a mobile phone from his suitcase. Fujiwara Juri wondered if the technology research department had made a breakthrough in space compression technology, otherwise it seemed like Leo could take anything out of a suitcase.
Actually, these were all taken out of the Extreme Fighting Device by Leo. No matter how much this briefcase can hold, it can only hold two shrinking guns at most. The language translation machine is something Leo thinks he might need sometime, so he has been carrying it with him all this time.
Leo put headphones on Little Sylvanas, and then, amidst the astonished gazes of a group of children, walked up to Big Sylvanas and gestured. Big Sylvanas immediately understood, lifted Leo up with his tail, and brought the headphones to his ears, letting Leo hang something on him.
Everything was set up, and Leo tried it out briefly, "Hello, cough cough, do you understand?"
Although Leo himself didn't know the principle, judging from the appearance of the two Silvergons, they should be able to understand it. They were obviously startled and looked around before realizing that it seemed to be Leo's voice.
"Oh yes, it's me. You should be able to understand what I'm saying, right?"
Little Hilbargon nodded first, making a creaking sound. The translator faithfully translated the content, but since it was a portable version, it couldn't convert speech to text and could only display the text.
[I understand, person, your voice is beautiful!]
Sorry, this child is still too young and curious about everything. I hope he didn't frighten you.
The following sentence was clearly spoken by Sylphagon the Elder. Leo turned around and gave the String Captain and the others an OK sign, earning them admiring glances.
"I have a question. When did these small Bogaru, those scary-looking things, appear?"
I don't know much about time, um, sorry, but I stumbled into this space created by some unknown race. There were already humans and those disgusting insects back then.
Great Hilbargon used his tail to push his cub back a couple of times to prevent the four-meter-tall little guy from being crushed by Leo. Leo calculated, "Then it seems it hasn't been ten years yet."
At first, there weren't many, just one or two. Occasionally, some strange things would break into the seal, and I got used to it. I didn't expect them to multiply so quickly and take up a large area of the seal.
Grand Sylphagon spoke in a tone somewhat like Rainbow Kagachi. Leo first nodded slowly with an "Oh," then suddenly looked up at her. "You're saying this land is a seal?"
As Leo compared the map with the one in his mind, he watched as Grand Sylphagon nodded, and he muttered to himself that something was wrong. This part of the map divided by Renlong was clearly a non-sealed area. Could it be related to the ultimate darkness?
Upon hearing the word "sealed," Captain Stringman and the others immediately realized that something was wrong. Although their memories of the ancient battles had not yet awakened, they had fought so many battles that they had considered what the situation might be.
"May I ask what is sealed here?"
He is not a thing; I cannot say, nor can I know.
"So you were sent here to guard this seal?"
After Leo finished asking, Great Sylvagon continued to use his tail to pull his cub back while scratching his head.
No, that's not it. Although I don't remember my origins, I seem to have come to break this seal.
So they weren't allies after all!
Everyone tensed up again. After thinking for a moment, Great Sylphagon continued.
After arriving here, I felt a bit sleepy, so I went to sleep. I don't know how long I slept, but when I woke up, I found that I had a child. Then I forgot about breaking the seal. I wouldn't have remembered it if we hadn't talked about it.
This really shocked everyone. How could someone be so careless? They didn't even know when they had a child. But on the bright side, thankfully Hilbargon didn't break the seal here, otherwise, it's hard to say how difficult things would be now.
Leo couldn't recall any of the seals here, but he quickly realized another problem: this space was independent of the real Earth, possibly connected to the whole world, and he himself might even be able to move.
In other words, it may not correspond to any seal, or it may be related to any seal or even every seal, which would be terrifying.
Leo pondered for a while, then asked, "You said this space was created by your own kind?"
Yes, but to create such a large alternate dimension, that person must be incredibly powerful, far more powerful than me. They might even be an evolved version of King Hilbargon.
Silently gripping the microphone, Leo turned to the captain of the String People and asked, "Captain, do you still remember that Silvergon from back then?"
