Chapter 129 Protecting Severus from Injury
Chapter 129 Protecting Severus from Injury
"Ayers, where are you going?" Draco saw me standing next to him, turned around and walked towards the professors' seats.
"Draco, you guys go back to your dorms and don't wander around. I have something to take care of." I ran towards the small door behind the professor's desk and just saw Severus leave there.
Draco watched me leave, then turned and followed the prefect. He believed I would be alright.
"Severus, where are you going?" As they walked through the door, they saw Severus moving quickly in front of them, looking like a large bat.
"Ayers, why did you follow me?" Severus stopped and waited for me to catch up when he heard my voice.
“I saw you walking this way, so I followed you.” I quickly walked to Severus’s side and started walking with him.
“I’m going to check if anyone has touched the things the principal hid,” Severus explained to me as we walked.
"Then let's go together, taking me with you is fine too." According to the plot of the previous life, Severus will be hurt by Hagrid's little baby, Fluffy, when he goes to the Philosopher's Stone checkpoint. I can't see Severus get hurt.
When Severus and I arrived at the entrance to the gate designed by Headmaster Albus Dumbledore.
“I’ll go first, you stand behind me.” I used my wand to cast ‘Open Aloho’ to open the locked gates and stood in front of Severus to go in first.
Severus knew I was trying to protect him, so he didn't say anything and let me go first. He knew I was stronger than him.
As Severus and I entered the dark room, a huge figure slowly rose to its feet.
Its body was like a small mountain, exuding a chilling aura. This was the legendary Cerberus, Hagrid's pet.
Its three heads were raised high, drool dripping from their mouths, and their eyes flashing with a blood-red light, as if they wanted to devour me.
It seems this little creature isn't an adult yet. I remember it would fall asleep when it heard music.
Its fur still feels soft; it must still be in its infancy and not yet as powerful as a mature animal.
Its limbs were thick and powerful, and its claws were deeply embedded in the ground, as if it were ready to pounce on me at any moment.
Suddenly, Cerberus let out a deafening roar, the sound waves reverberating through the air and making my ears ring.
Its three heads opened their gaping maws at the same time and lunged at me.
"Sit down." Instantly merging with elven blood, he stood before Severus, transforming into an elf.
Her black hair instantly grew long and turned silver, her figure slender and elegant, as if she had blended into her surroundings.
Her long, silver hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall, shimmering with a soft light.
Each strand of hair looks as if it were woven from the purest silver threads, delicate and smooth.
My ears are pointed and slightly upturned, revealing my elven lineage.
Her face became delicate and beautiful, and her skin was as white as alabaster.
His eyes were deep and bright, like stars twinkling in the night sky.
My eyes held a mysterious quality, as if they could see through everything.
Her magician's robe transformed into a green robe embroidered with exquisite patterns that seemed to be masterpieces of nature, blending perfectly with her body.
A golden belt was tied around his waist, with a dazzling gem set in it. The gem emitted a mysterious light, as if it contained endless power.
The wand in my hand transformed into a long wand with a green crystal surrounded by tree branches, covered with exquisite patterns that seemed to be the work of nature.
Suddenly, some vines appeared under our feet, forming a protective circle that shielded Severus and me.
After merging with the bloodline of the elven race, all creatures will obey the elves' commands, because elves possess a high affinity for monsters.
Hagrid's Lu Wei, too, calmed down and sat down upon hearing my command.
"Severus, would you like to go down and take a look?" I chuckled and turned to look at Severus.
“No need to go down and check. The door under this dog’s paws isn’t open, so the things inside should still be there.” Severus really trusted my abilities and stood behind me, carefully looking around.
“If there’s no problem, let’s leave. Harry might need us to go check on him too.” I gently patted Fluffy’s giant front leg, and Fluffy lowered his head as if wanting me to pet him.
"What's going on with Harry Potter? What kind of trouble are they causing?" Severus suddenly looked in my direction. Those are Lily's kids, are they really that mischievous?
"It must be that one of their friends couldn't be found, so they might have gone to look for him." He patted Lu Wei on the head and tossed some raw steak from his portable backpack to the three heads.
“Nonsense, come on, Ayers, let’s go take a look.” Severus suddenly turned and ran out.
"Wait for me, Severus. I'll come find you again next time." After feeding Louie, I turned around, locked the door, and followed Severus downstairs.
As he ran, he dispelled the bloodline fusion on his body and appeared with Severus, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Quirrell in front of the ruins of the girls' restroom, looking at the three little ones.
"Oh my god." Professor McGonagall had just stopped in front of Severus.
“You two had better explain yourselves,” Professor McGonagall said angrily, pointing at Harry and Ron.
As Harry prepared to explain, Hermione said, "It's all my fault, Professor McGonagall."
"What?" Harry and Roll whispered to each other.
“Miss Granger.” Professor McGonagall looked at Hermione with a puzzled expression, and all eyes turned to Hermione Gene Granger.
"I went to find the troll. I read about it in a book and thought I could handle it, but I was wrong. If Harry and Ron hadn't come to find me, I might be dead." What a clever Hermione Gene Granger. She's blatantly lying. I stood behind Severus, chuckling to myself.
“Even so… this is utterly foolish. I thought you were more intelligent than others, but you have disappointed me greatly, Miss Granger,” Professor McGonagall said to Hermione with a mixture of disappointment and frustration.
While Professor McGonagall and Hermione were talking, Harry was looking around. When he saw me standing next to Severus and smiling at him, he looked at me in surprise.
"Gryffindor loses 5 points because you have a serious lack of judgment in your actions."
After reprimanding Hermione, Professor McGonagall turned to Harry and Ron and said, "As for you two gentlemen... I want you to know how lucky you are. It's rare for first-year students to bravely fight a mountain monster and survive. Add 5 points... 5 points each."
As expected of Professor McGonagall, she is fair in rewarding and punishing. I watched the whole classic scene from the back; it's always better to be a bystander.
"Just because you were so lucky." Professor McGonagall left like that, and Severus and I followed her.
Professor Quirrell was left to clean up the mess, which he deserved; it was his own doing.
However, as I left, I gave Professor Quirrell a meaningful look. He wasn't affected by Riddle's Horcrux, so why did he still go for the Philosopher's Stone?
My curiosity was piqued.
