Chapter 244 Expressing Love to One's Beloved
Chapter 244 Expressing Love to One's Beloved
“It’s hard to imagine that the person I know is the same person you’re talking about,” Severus said.
"Actually, Severus, think about it carefully. In this magical world, what kind of life would it be for someone who is truly weak?" I know what kind of childhood Severus had. If my sudden appearance hadn't changed their lives, they might have ended up like I saw in my past life.
“Ayers, why do I feel like you know a lot of things? Did you plan to change our lives back then all along?” Severus finally asked the question he had always wanted to ask. He felt like I knew what would happen to us in the future and had been influencing and changing things all along.
“Severus, isn’t all that in the past? I’m here now. I care about you, I love you, and I feel sorry for you.” I reached out and tidied Severus’s hair that had fallen down, then pressed my head against his.
“Hmm.” Even in the darkness, Severus could see his lover’s face. Ayers spoke very seriously, and he could feel that what I said came from the bottom of my heart.
"Severus, I want you, is that alright?" I gently kissed the corner of his lips. I didn't feel like sleeping tonight; I wanted to savor him tonight.
"Whatever you say." Severus felt a warm glow inside after hearing what Ayers said, and he didn't feel sleepy at all, so he simply agreed to my request.
Our eyes met, and without a word, the deep affection in each other's eyes spoke volumes.
My gaze was tender yet burning, holding a deep longing for him, which Severus found irrevocably captivating.
We drew closer and closer, our movements slow yet carrying an undeniable firmness.
When my lips gently touched his, time seemed to stand still.
It was an incredibly wonderful feeling, like the first flower to bloom in spring, with a touch of shy sweetness; or like the gentlest breeze in summer, tenderly stirring the heartstrings.
At first, I only touched her lightly, like a feather brushing against her cheek, making Severus feel a tingling sensation.
But this gentle touch was like igniting a small flame that quickly spread through my heart.
We deepened our kiss, both of us immersed in this wonderful moment.
I could feel his lips trembling slightly, a mixture of nervousness and excitement, which made my heart flutter even more.
I gently stroked his face with my hand, the warmth of my fingertips passing through his skin and into my heart, like a warm current flowing through my body.
Severus's hands unconsciously wrapped around my neck, and I wanted to hold him tightly in my arms, as if that would freeze this beautiful moment forever.
This kiss was filled with our love and longing for each other.
We used our lips to express the deep affection that we couldn't usually put into words. Every breath we took was intertwined, and every heartbeat seemed to be for the other.
I could clearly hear his heartbeat; its powerful rhythm was like a war drum, pounding against my heart again and again.
In this kiss, there are no worries, no anxieties, only each other.
All the fatigue and stress vanished in that moment. The world seemed to consist only of this bed and our figures, tightly embracing and passionately kissing.
Time lost its meaning at this moment, and we savored this sweet and wonderful moment that belonged only to us.
When we finally separated slowly, our foreheads touched, and we breathed in the fresh air deeply.
Our eyes remained locked, and happy smiles graced our lips.
At that moment, I knew that no matter what the future held, as long as he was by my side, as long as we could still have moments like this, nothing else mattered.
This simple kiss carries so much of our love.
Because of his lack of self-control last night, Severus couldn't get out of bed the next day.
Then, I was honored to be in charge of the potions class for the entire day as a potions teaching assistant.
"Your Professor Snape is busy today, so I'll be teaching you instead." I stood on the podium with my Potions textbook in hand, looking at the three little ones and Draco's group sitting below.
"I didn't expect it to be Ayers teaching today. I didn't see Professor Snape. Does this mean we won't lose any credits today?" Ron whispered to Harry.
“Ron, Ayers is looking at you.” Harry didn’t dare turn his head, staring straight at Ayers on the podium who was staring at Ron beside him. Seeing my meaningful smile, he didn’t dare move an inch.
"Ron, answer the question I just asked." I smiled and nodded to Hermione, who had been holding up her hand.
Hermione knew I had seen her raised hand, but she also knew I wouldn't call on her to answer the question, so she slowly lowered her arm.
At least Ayers responded to his raised hand, unlike Professor Snape who completely ignored him.
"Um... Senior Ayers, I don't know." Ron stood up very nervously. He had been so busy chatting with Harry that he didn't even know what question I had asked.
“Ron Weasley, please pay attention in class. I don’t think you’d really like being invited to handle these potion ingredients.” I smiled at Ron and gently pointed my wand at the materials in the cabinet.
"I'm so sorry, Senior Ayers, I'll listen carefully." Ron could only lower his head and steal glances at me standing on the podium.
"Very good, sit down. I hope every junior student will listen attentively. I don't get many chances to teach, and if you miss this one, you don't know how long you'll have to wait." I said to each of them with a smile.
It's much better to deal with my smiling assistant than with Professor Snape's serious face, isn't it?
The subsequent lessons went very smoothly. Every little wizard listened attentively and completed their classwork very well.
Even those who usually cause explosions managed to barely pass the assignment today.
Hermione and Draco can also concoct perfect potions.
"Are you guys always slacking off? How come your classwork is so bad when Professor Snape is teaching?" I joked with them since there was still time left in class.
"It's mainly because Professor Snape's gaze is just too terrifying. When he looks at you, you forget what you're supposed to do next," Ron muttered under his breath, speaking up bravely.
The few Gryffindor wizards sitting nearby nodded in agreement.
Several other young Slytherin wizards, who were usually scolded severely, also nodded slightly.
"You can only say these things to me, don't let your Professor Snape know, or you'll be in big trouble." I shook my head at them with a smile.
"They can only talk about it in front of you, Senior Ayers," even Draco remarked.
"Alright, that's all for this class. You all did a good job today. You don't need to do any homework. See you again sometime." After I finished packing up all the things for the class, I started to urge everyone to leave.
