Chapter 41 Taking Direct Strike at the Throat
Chapter 41 Taking Direct Strike at the Throat
Horse hooves and sheep hooves pounded the ground, raising clouds of dust.
Tie Hui rode at the forefront, and he could already see the green forest in the distance.
"You bypass the Fangon Forest and head straight for Isengard!" Tie Hui said, glancing at the captains behind him. "I'll go find those treants myself!"
The team leaders behind them nodded, and then led the team in a wide turn.
Heading around the Fagon Forest toward Isengard.
Tie Hui rode his horse into the forest without hesitation.
The quiet forest was disturbed by the intrusion of strangers and the vibrations of horses' hooves.
Behind the road he passed, trees swayed and vines slowly twisted, blocking his retreat.
Tie Hui charged forward, even whipping the vines and grass blocking his path to pieces.
This caused even more commotion throughout the forest.
He could even hear the friction between the trees and the rustling of the trunks and leaves.
He only stopped his horse when he rushed into an open space and found that the dense tree trunks around him blocked all his way. He looked at the trees that surrounded him.
"I am a messenger sent by the White Wizard! I am a messenger sent by Gandalf. And a gift from Queen Galadriel!" Ironhide said, drawing his greatsword.
The magical light caused the strands of hair wrapped around the sword hilt to glow instantly.
The next second, the fluorescent light turned into white light, illuminating all the surrounding trees.
The previously menacing atmosphere vanished instantly, and the trees ceased their restless activity.
"I need to find those two hobbits, please make way for them!" Tie Hui shouted, controlling his restless horse and looking at the surrounding trees.
The trees then rustled and shook, as if they were having a discussion.
A few seconds later, the trees on the left parted to create a path wide enough for one person to walk through.
Tie Hui grinned, then raised his whip and charged in.
A moment later, he looked at the tall tree-man in front of him and the two hobbits sitting on either side of the tree canopy.
I know I've come to the right place!
Upon arriving in front of him, Tie Hui immediately reined in his horse and stopped.
Looking at the two little ones still standing there in the treetop, he chuckled, "You've already forgotten me?"
As Tie Hui spoke, he took off his helmet.
Upon seeing that it was Iron Glory, Pippin and Merri immediately shouted excitedly and climbed down the tree, making the tree-man itchy.
Tie Hui dismounted, and the two men immediately grabbed his legs, extremely excited.
"This is the western part of the Fagong Forest. You don't mean to..." Tie Hui asked tentatively, looking at the two who had calmed down.
Pippin and Merri exchanged a glance, then raised an eyebrow at him.
Tie Hui nodded, indicating his agreement.
"Then shall I go with you?"
The treant then approached: "Human! What brings you here?"
Tie Hui stroked his chin: "Gandalf sent me to expand the living space for the Tree People!"
The tree-man squinted and squatted down to take a closer look at Tie Hui.
Finding nothing wrong, he stood up and said helplessly, "Alright then, come with me!"
Tie Hui smiled slightly and mounted his horse.
The two hobbits climbed back onto the treetop.
And so the four of them slowly made their way westward.
Tie Hui would occasionally take out his binoculars to check if he had reached the edge of the forest.
He is now looking forward to seeing how the Tree Man will react after witnessing Isengard's tragic state.
As we got closer to Isengard, light gradually filtered through the dense canopy.
As they emerged from the edge of the forest, sunlight streamed in, and everyone squinted as their vision began to clear.
A few seconds later, everyone opened their eyes and looked at the bare ground around them, which was now just tree stumps and tangled weeds.
The tree-man was stunned for half a second, then its crown flared wildly in anger, and leaves fell one after another.
With a roar, the entire Fagong Forest seemed to come alive.
Through his binoculars, Tie Hui also spotted cavalry charging toward them from the plains near the main gate of Isengard.
Tie Hui put away his binoculars and smiled, then took out his helmet.
He flipped his hand and performed a sword flourish!
Looking at the densely packed treants charging out from behind, he shouted: "Kill!"
With a roar, he pointed his greatsword straight at Isengard!
The horse galloped forward with all four hooves pounding the ground!
The tree people also launched an attack, hurling stones at Isengard like catapults.
Meanwhile, the cavalry of the three races accelerated their charge towards Isengard in the distance.
Some of the tree-men cleverly aimed stones at the gates of Isengard and smashed them down, directly collapsing the gates and part of the city wall.
Tie Hui charged into the fortress and swung his sword!
A golden flame was suddenly unleashed, sweeping towards the panicked orcs.
The tree people rushed in after them, kicking the orcs like footballs and stomping on them like ants.
The cavalry of the three-race allied forces followed closely behind, unleashing a frenzied massacre on the hastily assembled orc troops left behind.
The dwarven ram riders charged at the forefront, their heavy armor, combined with the ram's armor, scattering the thousands of orc soldiers.
As the two sides locked in fierce combat, all the orcs in the fortress were being rapidly wiped out.
At the same time, the tree people breached the dikes, and a raging flood surged forth.
Tie Hui led the cavalry of the three races to stand on a distant hillside, watching the raging flood below.
He knows what's going on here!
He immediately turned his horse around and led his army toward the Black Barbarian Lands.
Meanwhile, Saruman in the Black Wildlands received news of the attack on Isengard immediately.
Although this made him very angry, he didn't care anymore.
As long as the high command of Rohan and Gandalf can be dealt with in one fell swoop, the destruction of Isengard will not have a significant impact.
He turned to look at the orc army that had already assembled outside: "Attack!"
He uttered two words in a low voice, which immediately overwhelmed the entire army.
The orc army instantly became restless.
The wolf riders scouted ahead and around the area, and led the way.
The army began to slowly advance towards Helm's Deep.
If the vanguard hadn't been completely annihilated, he wouldn't have personally led a large army to attack Helm's Deep.
"The cavalry can't break through their encirclement at all!"
Théoden looked at the cavalrymen who had just been carried away; this was a unit that had gone out to try to break through, but had failed.
"We're stuck here, we can't get out!"
Gandalf sat to one side, leaning against a pillar, smoking his pipe, wanting to say something.
Uh...
The long, drawn-out bugle call instantly interrupted his words; it was a bugle call to defend against the enemy.
After exchanging bewildered glances, the people present suddenly rushed out of the fortress and headed towards the city wall.
At the entrance to the distant valley, a densely packed army of orcs was advancing in overwhelming numbers.
In the orc army, that white robe stood out particularly.
Gandalf gazed at the figure in white robes, muttering, "Saruman!"
