Tears welled up in her eyes, and Li Yuanke handed her a tissue.
Shen Shixi's gaze followed his well-defined fingers, his fair palms, the sapphire cufflinks on his wrists, up his shoulders and back, down to his Adam's apple, and finally to his face, where their eyes met!
"I'm sorry, I reminded you of something sad!" Li Yanshen raised his hand and wiped away her tears.
In a moment of impulse, Shen Shixi grabbed his wrist. He calmly let her hold it, gently guiding her wrist as he stubbornly wiped away her tears.
Shen Shixi couldn't discern anything from his expression, so she released her grip and said, "From now on..."
She was about to say, "Don't come looking for me anymore," but then she realized that he wasn't coming to see her anyway; it was all work-related.
"What will happen to me in the future?" Li Yanshen asked, looking at her with a very gentle expression. However, Shen Shixi no longer wanted to see that face.

Ning Meng had never been to this place before, but since they had recommended it, she had no other choice but to give them face.
She sent an "OK" emoticon.

When Shen Shixi returned home, her mother had gone to some temple to burn incense and pray. Her brother was there, on the phone. Seeing his sister return, he quickly said, "I'm hanging up now, I'll talk to you later. My sister's back, I have to go cook for her!"
The other person cursed him as a "sister slave," but he was used to it. He threw down the phone, took his sister's suitcase, and said, "You're back! Dad said if you hadn't come back, he would have donated a few more boxes of instant noodles to your institute!"
Shen Shixi was immediately annoyed. "Get out!"
She flopped onto the sofa, and her brother, just like Li Fude, immediately came over to fawn over her, massaging her legs. "Tired? Hungry? I'll make you something nice to eat. What do you want?"

Before she had eaten half of it, Shen Shixi started nodding her head. Her brother felt sorry for her, so he moved the bowl away, picked her up, and carried her upstairs.
I threw her onto the bed, took off her shoes, and tucked them into the blankets.
Shen Shixi slept until noon the next day, and only got up when she couldn't hold her pee any longer. After using the toilet, she felt much more energetic, took a shower, and went downstairs to find food.
My aunt was there; she must have heard from her brother that she was back. She made all her favorite dishes: wild ginseng chicken soup, stir-fried shrimp and corn kernels, steamed shad, sweet and sour pork ribs, and fish head tofu soup.
"Xixi's awake! I was just saying if you hadn't woken up, I would have gone to wake you. Eat quickly, it'll get cold!"
"I'm hungry!" Shen Shixi sat down at the dining table and leaned on it.
The auntie was heartbroken and served her a bowl of chicken soup first. "Drink the soup! Oh my, you've gotten so thin. Sigh, what kind of job is this? You're risking your life. You need to take care of yourself!"
