Chapter 5 "Jinbe, one of the Four Emperors"
Chapter 5 "Jinbe, one of the Four Emperors"
Chu Yang, who was deep in thought about the future, seemed somewhat dazed.
In Tiger's eyes, Chu Yang exuded confusion from head to toe.
Tiger patted Chu Yang on the shoulder and comforted him, "How about this, you come with me first, and we'll make plans later."
Chu Yang asked in surprise, "Where are we going? Fishman Island?"
"Do you think I can ever go back to Fishman Island?" Tiger said with a wry smile. "After tonight, I'm afraid I'll be wanted by the entire navy of the world!"
"Under these circumstances, if I were to return to Fishman Island, it would bring unimaginable disaster to the island."
Chu Yang sighed and said, "That's true."
Tiger asked, "Would you like to come out to sea with me?"
The Sun Pirates?
Chu Yang had a sudden thought. He realized that he didn't have anywhere else to go, so he accepted Tiger's invitation.
The two then secretly went to the port, intending to build a pirate ship and set sail.
Each ship actually has crew members on duty.
However, they are all resting in the cabin at this time.
Since there were only two people, and considering that Chu Yang had little sailing experience, Tiger planned to get a small three-wheeled sailboat for easier handling.
Chu Yang and Tiger had no qualms about robbing pirate ships; they considered it a way of robbing the rich to help the poor, even though they were the ones who were actually helping themselves.
After locking onto their target, Tiger and Chu Yang prepared to make their move. The number of pirates on the small three-masted sailing ship was not large, and they were no match for them.
After dealing with the minions, Tiger prepared to sail away in his pirate ship, but then he heard a familiar voice.
"Brother Tiger, I've been waiting for you for a long time. What are you doing?"
Chu Yang and Tiger turned around.
A large group of fishmen were seen standing on the shore, led by a burly blue fat man.
It looks so familiar...
Isn't this just Jinbe, one of the "Four Emperors"?
Tiger looked serious.
In order not to implicate his companions, he chose to go to the holy land alone, but unexpectedly they still followed him.
Gazing at the towering flames reflected above the Red Line, Jinbe guessed that Tiger had succeeded, and said, "I can't stop you from rescuing those slaves, but you can't stop us either."
"Jinbe!" Tiger was furious!
But there was nothing he could do; he knew Jinbe was a very loyal and righteous guy.
"Brother Tiger, although we can't help you much, we can leave with you!" Jinbe's eyes revealed a deep light, like the sea.
"Yes, Brother Tiger, even if the Navy wants to capture you, they'll have to get past us first!"
"I've disliked those humans for a long time; I'll take care of them one by one!"
The other merfolk also started making a fuss.
Tiger was moved, but he also felt that he couldn't persuade these people otherwise, so he had no choice but to agree to let them join him and set sail together.
"I'm sorry, young man, I'm afraid we'll have to bring a few more people with us on this voyage." Tiger said apologetically, because he knew that apart from himself, the other fishmen wouldn't like the boy in front of him.
Only then did the fish-men notice Chu Yang, and everyone's expression suddenly turned gloomy.
Jinbe is alright; although he doesn't have much affection for humans, at least he doesn't actively show malice.
At this moment, a tall fishman stepped out from the crowd.
He stared coldly at Chu Yang and asked, "Brother Tiger, who is this boy?"
Tiger stood in front of Chu Yang and said in a deep voice, "Ah Long, he escaped from Mary Geoise with me and saved me once."
"You saved Tiger's brother?"
The still very young Alon did not lessen his hostility towards Chu Yang. His expression was unfriendly as he asked, "Big brother, you're not really going to bring this human child with us on this sea voyage, are you?"
"Who knows if he'll betray us later?"
Upon hearing this, the remaining fish-men echoed him, their words filled with dissatisfaction with Chu Yang's human identity.
Having survived a near-death experience, Chu Yang's mindset has already changed.
Faced with this blatant hostility, he gave the group a cold look.
He can kill the jailers, so he can certainly kill these guys too.
"Shut up, all of you!" Tiger snapped at his companions, a rare display of anger. "Do you expect me to do something as ungrateful as those humans?"
His shout silenced the fishmen, led by Alon, but Alon still glared fiercely at Chu Yang.
"You think you can bully me just because I'm young?" Chu Yang laughed. It seems that if he wants to gain a foothold in the Sun Pirates, he must first give Arlong a taste of his own medicine.
Seeing the atmosphere become awkward, Jinbe stepped in to smooth things over, "Brother Tiger, many of them have suffered persecution from humans to varying degrees, so they are quite wary. I hope you can understand."
Tiger sighed. He understood, of course. Even his own goodwill towards humans had completely disappeared. If Chu Yang hadn't actually helped him, he probably would have just stood by and watched.
Subsequently, in an eerie atmosphere, Chu Yang boarded the giant pirate ship with the fish-men.
This was prepared before Jinbe arrived.
Tiger personally raised the legendary flag belonging to the Sun Pirates.
The pirate flag fluttered in the night as the ship slowly left the port and sailed into the boundless sea.
Standing on the deck, Tiger smiled and asked Chu Yang's name for the first time.
"My name is Chu Yang!"
The boy's clear and confident voice echoed.
"A very unique name." Tiger found it a bit awkward to pronounce, but he still remembered Chu Yang's name.
After enjoying the breeze on the deck for a while, Chu Yang planned to rest, but Ah Long suddenly volunteered to take Chu Yang to his room.
Ah Long's sudden enthusiasm made Tiger think that his relationship with Chu Yang had improved, so he readily agreed.
Chu Yang smiled coldly, not exposing Ah Long's little scheme. He also wanted to "talk" with him.
Ah Long led Chu Yang into the cabin and headed downwards, quickly bypassing the living area and reaching the storage warehouse on the lower level.
Standing outside the warehouse door, Ah Long suddenly stopped, turned around, and looked at Chu Yang with a cold expression, sneering, "Human child, you don't actually think I'm taking you to rest, do you?"
Ah Long expected to see Chu Yang's panicked expression, but he only saw a playful look on Chu Yang's face.
Young Alon is not yet the newbie boss of Cocoyasi Village, and even if he is, he is no match for Chu Yang.
Disappointed, Ah Long's expression turned ferocious as he roared, "Kid, you'd better get off the ship while I'm talking to you nicely!"
"Shut up!" Chu Yang raised his right hand, and a large number of tree vines extended from his right arm, expanding continuously and instantly enveloping A Long, rendering him unable to move.
The trees pressed relentlessly against Ah Long's body, the tight confinement making him feel suffocated. He looked at Chu Yang in horror, "You're an ability user?!"
Chu Yang did not answer him, but continued to increase the pressure until A Long's mouth and nose began to bleed continuously.
The internal organs were severely damaged!
Ah Long's agonizing expression thrilled Chu Yang, who revealed a genuine smile.
Ah Long was horrified when he saw this!
