"Hurry up, we have to go. Move around a bit. We agreed to stick to the plan." Zhuge Cong was well aware that with such injuries, Okazaki Tomoya was doomed.

"This was my original plan, Tsuru," Okazaki Tomoya said weakly.

"Didn't you say you were going to see your family? Get up." Zhuge Cong said, tears welling in his eyes as if they would spill over at any moment.

"My family is dead. My wife died in childbirth, and my daughter died of illness. Now, I'm going to see them. Cong, it's alright, it's alright. This is my final destination."

"Thank you for saving me," Zhuge Cong said, his voice choked with emotion.

"Don't waste it, don't waste your life, cherish yourself, cherish the people around you..." Okazaki Tomoya said before taking his last breath.

[Zhuge Cong, seeing Okazaki Tomoya lifeless, angrily stood up and then put on his mask.]

"I can already sense that the Boss is about to unleash a massacre."

In the laboratory, Scorpion looked at the furious Zhuge Cong and said that he was very interested in the suit of armor that Zhuge Cong had developed. Deidara liked weapons with explosives, while he liked weapons with robots.

Looking at himself on the screen, Okazaki Tomoya felt that his fate was so full of hardships. His wife died in childbirth, his daughter died of illness, and he was eventually taken hostage by terrorists.

The terrorists outside the cave were already armed and waiting at the entrance for Zhuge Cong to emerge.

[With a heavy metallic clang, Zhuge Cong emerged from the cave. The terrorists unleashed a barrage of fire upon him, dozens of guns striking his armor with only a thud, having no effect whatsoever.]

After emptying their magazines, the terrorists looked at the motionless Iron Man, unsure if he was dead, since they couldn't see inside the armor.

"My turn." Zhuge Cong's flamethrowers shot out flames dozens of meters away, igniting and burning the terrorists who couldn't escape in time.

[This place contained a large quantity of weaponry. Under Zhuge Cong's flames, the boxes containing the weapons also caught fire, followed by a series of explosions in the surrounding area.]

[The landing point of Mark 1 was quickly revealed; a sharp-eyed terrorist fired a shot that struck the operating belt on the back of Zhuge Cong's armor. The breakage of the belt caused Zhuge Cong to lose his footing and kneel on one knee.]

The surrounding fires and explosions were growing increasingly intense; if all the munitions detonated, Zhuge Cong knew he wouldn't survive.

"Just you wait. If I survive, none of you will escape," Zhuge Cong said ruthlessly before pressing the emergency escape button on his left hand.

[White flames began to erupt from Zhuge Cong's feet, and then he soared into the sky like a small rocket. The instant he flew off, the munitions exploded, creating a mushroom cloud. The terrifying blast instantly caused the entire valley to collapse.]

"Ahhh!" Parts began to fall from the armor, and Zhuge Cong, running out of fuel, crashed to the ground. Fortunately, he had anticipated the impact and taken precautions, but he still felt sore all over.

[Zhuge Cong lay in the desert, his Mark 1 armor completely useless, reduced to scrap metal. He took it off, grabbed a headscarf, and searched for a way out under the scorching sun. Just as he felt he was about to collapse, the roar of an airplane engine sounded overhead.]

"Zhuge Cong, I admire you. You managed to save yourself even in such circumstances."

Kiritani Kazuto looked at Zhuge Cong and said that Zhuge Cong had chosen a way that no one had expected to escape, which was to find a way to break out of the terrorists' hometown.

11: Zhuge Cong escapes death, a Western film agent appears on screen.

[“Hey, hey, hey, I’m here!” Zhuge Cong shouted and waved with all his might at the plane flying overhead. The helicopter in the sky noticed Zhuge Cong in the desert and immediately landed.]

Seeing the helicopter land, Zhuge Cong collapsed to his knees, utterly helpless. He knew he was saved, and Okazaki Tomo's sacrifice had not been in vain.

[Hachiman Hikigaya, who was on the plane, also rushed over with several soldiers. During the days that Zhuge Cong had been missing, he had been on the front line of the search for Zhuge Cong from the helicopter.]

"How's your Hummer?" Hachiman Hikigaya asked upon seeing Zhuge Cong, who was unharmed or rather, still alive.

Zhuge Cong simply smiled and remained silent; he no longer had the strength to say anything more.

"Next time, will you ride in the same car as me?" Hachiman Hikigaya bent down, squatted in front of Zhuge Cong, and patted his shoulder earnestly.

[Next, Zhuge Cong, escorted by the military, successfully returned to Sector L on a transport plane. At the airport, Zhuge Cong's personal secretary, Ai Haibara, and bodyguard, Tsukasa Shishio, had already arrived to wait for him after receiving notification from Hachiman Hikigaya.]

[After disembarking from the plane, Zhuge Cong was back in his expensive suit. However, he no longer gave off the impression of a carefree playboy; instead, he exuded maturity and a weathered air.]

"Watch your step." His body, already weakened from the intense battle and the arduous journey through the desert, was further weakened. Hikigaya Hachiman helped him off the plane.

"Are you kidding me? Tell them to move aside," Zhuge Cong said, looking at the two medical personnel pushing the ammunition cart.

Seeing Zhuge Cong approaching, Ai Haibara couldn't hide the joy on her face, after all, Zhuge Cong's disappearance for the past few days had caused her great sorrow.

"Hmm, your eyes are red. Are you crying for your long-lost boss? It seems I still hold a high place in your heart," Zhuge Cong said, looking at Ai Haibara's red-rimmed eyes.

"No, I just hate looking for a job," Ai Haibara said somewhat bluntly.

"Where to, sir?" asked Tsukasa Shishio, sitting in the driver's seat.

"Let's go to the hospital," Ai Haibara said first.

"No," Zhuge Cong said.

"No? What does 'no' mean? You need to go to the hospital for a checkup," Ai Haibara said, looking at Zhuge Cong.

"No, that's right. I don't need to go to the hospital. I need to do something now."

"What are you doing?" Ai Haibara asked Zhuge Cong. She knew that sometimes she couldn't persuade him, so she might as well listen to what he had to say.

"I've been imprisoned for three months. I have two things to do now. First, I need to eat a hamburger. Second, I need you to help me hold a press conference," Zhuge Cong said, turning to Ai Haibara. Looking at her, he couldn't help but recall the words Tomoya Okazaki had said to him before his death.

"Okay." Ai Haibara didn't ask any further questions, but instead took out her phone and began making arrangements.

"Drive, let's go find the hamburger."

"Three months, and it seems a lot was still omitted from the video."

Sato Kazuma looked at the three months that Zhuge Cong mentioned on the light screen and exclaimed in surprise.

"Otherwise, do you expect me to build you a Mark 1 in a few days?"

Zhuge Cong looked at Sato Kazuma and said.

"Is Mark 1 the name you gave that exoskeleton armor? It's pretty good."

Xi Pian, who was sitting in front of Zhuge Cong, turned around and said that he, or rather, the boys, found it hard to resist that suit of armor.

"Yes, how is it?"

"He looks really cool."

[Lion King Si drove Zhuge Cong back to the Zhuge Group's company, where a large crowd had already gathered.]

"Look, who's back, Cong?" Zhuge Stan greeted him with a broad smile and gave Zhuge Cong a hug.

"Having failed in his plan, he will likely continue to look for opportunities to strike, but it's unclear how long it will take for Zhuge Cong to discover it."

Looking at Zhuge Cong's companion, Zhuge Stan, L thought to himself that he had already decided that Zhuge Stan was the culprit.

"I thought you were going to the hospital; I was just about to go see you," Zhugestan said, sounding very concerned.

"I'm fine," Zhuge Cong said, taking a hamburger from Shishio Tsukasa and starting to eat it without regard for the occasion.

"Hey, look who's here!" Zhuge Cong and Zhuge Stan walked into the hall where the Zhuge Group held its press conference. As soon as they entered, the reporters and staff who saw Zhuge Cong applauded. Zhuge Stan also tried to liven up the atmosphere.

Watching Zhuge Cong walk into the crowd and head towards the podium, Ai Haibara smiled slightly. After all, she hadn't had a moment's peace during Zhuge Cong's three-month absence.

"Miss Haibara?" a man with a receding hairline approached and said.

"Damn it, even Nishikata is in it, why am I not in it yet? Does that mean I'm never going to be in it?"

Kazuma Sato looked at Nishikata on the screen with envy and said.

Xi Pian hadn't expected to appear inside the light screen.

"That's really good, Nishikata."

Takagi, who was standing to the side, said to Nishikata.

"Hey, what's good?"

"Of course, you should go up on this light screen. You look like you really want to go up on this light screen, don't you?"

At this point, Kazuma Sato could only hope that he wasn't the only one who hadn't slept with someone, and that if he did, it would be someone with a lot of class.

【"it's me."】

"Can I say something to you?"

"I won't participate in the Q&A session. The press conference will start shortly. You can ask Zhuge Cong yourself," Ai Haibara said, assuming Nishikata was a reporter.

"I'm not a reporter, you've misunderstood. I'm Nishikata, an agent under the Strategic Defense, Attack and Logistics Bureau." Nishikata pulled out a business card and handed it over.

"Ugh, he's a secret agent, and it sounds like he's in a really powerful organization. Ouch, this hurts so much."

Kazuma Sato was incredibly envious. Not to mention Zhuge Cong, Hachiman Hikigaya was a lieutenant colonel and Nishikata was a special agent. If they really released him, and found out he was just a shut-in, how would he live?

"What a tongue-twisting name," Ai Haibara remarked as she took the business card.

"Yes, we are still making improvements."

"Other departments have already contacted us, perhaps you..."

"We are a separate department, with a clearer and more focused objective. We need to inquire with Mr. Zhuge Cong about the specifics of his successful escape."

12: Zhuge Cong, feeling something, told everyone that Stan's interests were coming knocking on their door.

"Okay, I'll add it to the schedule," Ai Haibara replied.

"Thank you. Oh, and remember to give my regards to Zhuge Cong. I was his high school classmate." With that, Nishikata turned and left.

At this moment, Zhuge Stan stood on the podium, while Zhuge Cong sat on the floor, leaning against the podium, completely lacking his former aloofness.

[“Does everyone like standing like this? Isn’t it tiring? Can we sit down? That way you can all see me, and I can see you, and I don’t have to be so formal.” Zhuge Cong waved for the group of reporters to sit down, then took out a hamburger and started eating.]

"How did it turn into a hippie gathering?"
