[After pedaling his bicycle for a long time, Kazuma Sato saw his familiar surroundings again, but soon, he became unhappy.]
Even though he wore a hood, his disfigured handsome face was still visible to others.
[Sato Kazuma felt the strange, monstrous looks from passersby, and heard the words around him.]
"My goodness!"
"He looks like a monster."
"Don't look at the child, it will give you nightmares."
[Sato Kazuma turned his head and saw his own face reflected in the glass beside him.]
[The hatred in my heart towards Asagiri Kaname also grew in the north of the city.]
"Gossip is always so hurtful, especially since Kazuma Sato is going through a very difficult time right now."
Looking at Kazuma Sato, who was walking down the street with his head down, trying his best not to let others see his face, Ken Sugisaki said to Kazuma Sato.
------
"What's wrong?"
King suddenly felt someone watching him, and when he turned around, he saw Saitama staring at him.
"King, when you go out, do you feel uncomfortable because people see the scar around your eye and say something or look at you strangely?"
Saitama looked at the scar on Kinh's left eye and said.
"Strange looks?"
Does fear count?
King thought that there seemed to be no strange looks, but there were looks of fear and apprehension, and there were even fewer gossips.
The word "king" is something like that he's heard the most.
"Gang leader, get out of the way."
"Stop looking, what if it annoys someone?"
"Get away quickly, what if he thinks you're provoking him?"
At first, King wasn't used to it, since it wasn't something he got from fighting; he'd just been accidentally scratched by the kitten.
"fear?"
Saitama didn't understand at first, but then he caught a glimpse of a gangster character with a scar on his eye on the game screen and immediately realized why it was fear.
"Damn it, Asagiri, you bastard, you really ruined Sister Margaret's Bar!"
"I thought you were joking. Well, now you have another way to die."
On his way home, Kazuma Sato passed by Sister Margaret's Bar, thinking that Asagiri had mentioned it was no longer there.
[Sato Kazuma initially thought Asagiri was deliberately being provocative, but then, as Sato Kazuma walked in and pushed open the door, the dilapidated door slammed to the ground with a thud.]
[Then Kazuma Sato went inside and found the usually bustling Sister Margaret's Bar eerily quiet.]
The bar was also a mess, with numerous signs of fire damage.
Just as Kazuma Sato was still reeling from the destruction of Sister Margaret's Bar, a voice rang out behind him.
"Um, Sister Margaret's Bar is closed now. Come back after it's been renovated, though it might not be open again."
[Sato Kazuma recognized the voice immediately and turned around, startling the bartender.]
"Drink it."
The bartender, startled by Sato Kazuma's face, took a few steps back. Seeing the frightened bartender, Sato Kazuma, remembering his own changed appearance, spoke up.
"What are you afraid of, weasel? It's Kazuma, I'm back."
"You're Kazuma! You're not dead!?"
The bartender recognized the familiar voice, and realized that the person in front of him, if not for the face, did indeed look exactly like Kazuma Sato.
"What are you talking about? I'm not dead, isn't that a good thing? Oh, I remember now, you used me to gamble in the Death Pool."
[Sato Kazuma remembered the weasel's earlier talk about gambling with his life in the deadly pool. If people found out he wasn't dead, the weasel would probably have to give back all the money.]
"Such a change in the betting situation is indeed surprising, after all, Sato Kazuma, who was supposed to die, did not die."
Kirari Momobami sat in the student council president's chair and looked at the light screen.
If she hadn't known about mutants or that someone could transform others into mutants, she probably wouldn't have gambled on the fact that Kazuma Sato, who had terminal liver cancer, would reappear alive and well after disappearing for so long.
Just like the final answer to a coin toss isn't heads, tails, or upright, but rather the coin getting stuck in a cloud—it's unpredictable.
"Let's not talk about this anymore, come in and have a seat."
[The weasel walked into Sister Margaret's Bar, gesturing for Kazuma Sato to follow.]
After entering, Sato Kazuma sat down in his familiar seat and looked at the weasel. Although Sato Kazuma knew it was Asagiri who had given the instructions, he wanted to know the specifics.
"What happened at the bar?"
"Some time after you disappeared, a group of men in black suddenly stormed in and began smashing and destroying property. Many people were injured or killed. As they fled, they threw a fire."
"Fortunately, the firefighters arrived in time, which allowed the Sister Margaret's Bar to barely survive and avoid being burned to the ground."
"But since this place is still open, I don't know how long it will take. Here, take it to you."
The bartender handed over a glass of water, but Kazuma Sato glanced at it, pushed it away, and said...
"No alcohol? I'd like a cup of oolong tea."
"Your liver."
"Alright, don't worry. During the time I disappeared, I was treating my illness. Of course, it was less like treatment and more like being tortured by a sadistic pervert. Although I'm cured, the side effects are severe, as you can tell from my face."
"It is indeed quite large. Your face is like an avocado placed on top of another, older, and more disgusting avocado."
"And that avocado wasn't gentle at all; the violent annihilation of Cao Cao—this kind of catharsis, though seemingly discordant, is perhaps the only face born from catharsis that doesn't involve violence."
"So, can you tell me where you've been these past few days?"
"Of course, although it might sound a little 18+."
["Viewers under 18 years of age, please watch with your parents."]
[The following sentence is a narration by Kazuma Sato speaking to the screen.]
"The bartender's analogy is excellent; it's apt and easy to understand."
Amakusa Shinobu agreed with the bartender's analogy about Sato Kazuma.
Takatoshi Tsuda, who was standing to the side, didn't know what to say, since he was already used to the student council president's way of thinking.
"Finally, the sadist who could restore my handsome face and transform me into a mutant vanished without a trace."
"You need to think of another way. Right now, this sadist who turned you into a mutant is the only guy who might be able to heal your face."
As a bartender at an underground mercenary bar, he had long heard of the extraordinary abilities of the mutants.
"You're absolutely right. Now I need to find Asagiri and ask for it."
"Let's go make a horror movie."
"What the hell?"
[Sato Kazuma was suddenly caught off guard by the bartender's comment.]
"You could star in a horror movie yourself right now."
"Because your face now looks like a combination of Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury."
"I'm going to do this. I plan to have Asagiri's henchmen find him, force him to heal my face, then lock him in a small room and make him ride a bicycle for hours. Finally, I'll cut a hole in his head and sell him to some necrophiliac gay guy as a Fiji cup."
"I've already imagined it."
Zhuge Cong, who was lying on the table, said that he was good at understanding things instantly, and he could instantly fill in the blanks in his mind after hearing Sato Kazuma's explicit and detailed explanation.
"I understand you."
Hachiman Hikigaya patted Kazuma Sato on the shoulder and said, "After all, although not much has been shown, it's enough to imagine what kind of torture Kazuma Sato has suffered at the hands of Kaname Asagiri."
Now that even Sister Margaret's Bar, Sato Kazuma's second hometown, is gone, it's no wonder that Sato Kazuma would want to kill Asagiri.
--------
"He's just a defeated opponent."
Asagiri looked at Sato Kazuma, who was making threats on the screen, and sneered. She had beaten him up before, so beating him up again wouldn't hurt.
Asagiri Kaname was almost entirely in a state of bloodlust and forgot about the scene at the beginning when he was being beaten by Sato Kazuma. If the X-Men hadn't arrived, he would have been dead.
[Kazuma Sato knew he'd skipped the bartender's suggestion of starring in a horror movie; he simply didn't have the time for that right now.]
"I don't want to see that scene, or even imagine it myself, but that bastard thought you were dead, didn't he?"
"Yes, at first I also thought I'd be burned to ashes."
"That's perfect, you should blend into the crowd."
"How do you do it, like wearing a mask?"
