"Bong!"
A deafening roar, like a thunderclap exploding across the world, and Ronan vanished completely from the face of the earth, leaving not even a trace of ash or existence.
[“Ugh!”]
After defeating Ronan, Iris pulled out the device used to contain the Infinity Stones and quickly collected them.
After the Infinity Stones were contained, the energy storm they had released completely disappeared.
The four Guardians of the Galaxy also felt a sense of relief, unable to believe they had actually succeeded, and even more unable to believe they hadn't died from the power of the Infinity Stones.
"Rudeus is perhaps one of the factors that brought comfort to the Infinity Stones."
L looked at Rudeus in the light screen and said that he and Light Yagami didn't really believe in the power of idealism.
Instead, they believe that the Infinity Stones were safe because of one of the four people, Rudeus and his companions.
"Alice?"
L looked at the four Guardians of the Galaxy on the light screen and began to think.
Alice, Thanos's adopted daughter, is a cyborg with formidable power, and this explains why Thanos adopted her.
If Thanos's ability to control the Infinity Stones stemmed from Iris's unique physical condition, then adopting Iris would seem perfectly normal and reasonable.
Drax is just an ordinary unlucky guy whose home was destroyed by Ronan, so it's unlikely he harbors a deep-seated hatred for Ronan.
However, it is also possible that Drax has always possessed a mysterious and powerful force within him, but it has not manifested due to the lack of external stimulation.
Rocket Raccoon, an experimental creation, other details unknown, is highly intelligent and has excellent manual dexterity. The reason for his modification could be to control the Infinity Stones, but this is highly unlikely.
Rudeus, a reincarnated individual, was taken in by an alien raider army.
L feels that Rudeus and Alice are very likely to be together.
"Mutants, or what?"
L suspects that Rudeus, being an Earthling, had his mutant genes activated by the power of the Infinity Stones, causing his mutant abilities to mutate and thus stabilizing the Infinity Stones.
L shared some of the conclusions he had drawn, and Light Yagami did the same.
Light Yagami and L's analyses differ slightly, but not by much.
Ultimately, Light Yagami and L attributed the stability of the Infinity Stones to Rudeus.
"Not bad, not bad."
"What a magnificent spectacle of light and shadow!"
Just as the four Guardians of the Galaxy were escaping death, an untimely voice rang out.
"A happy ending indeed."
Yondu, leading his Raider army, surrounded Rudeus and his companions. Clearly, their intentions were hostile; they were after the Infinity Stones.
"But before you get all worked up, get on with the serious stuff first."
Yondu walked towards Rudeus and the others while speaking, his words making no attempt to conceal his desire for the Infinity Stones.
"Rudius, you can't hand him over."
[Iris looked at Rudeus and said, "Iris was never in favor of giving the Infinity Stones to Yondu."]
After experiencing it firsthand, Alice became even more convinced of this idea.
"You need to think this through, Yondu."
Rudeus looked at Yondu and said, "Even without Iris's persuasion, after experiencing it firsthand, Rudeus also decided not to give the Infinity Stones to Yondu."
[Especially given the uncertainty of who Yondu will sell the Infinity Stones to. After all, what if Yondu sells them to an ambitious person? What was the point of him stopping Ronan then?]
"I don't know who you're going to sell it to."
"However, the only way to ensure the stability of the universe is to entrust this Infinite Orb to the Nova Corps for safekeeping."
Rudeus looked at Yondu and said, "After all, the Nova Corps is reliable, at least among the people Rudeus knows."
As for hiding it somewhere, Rudeus felt it was more reliable to leave it to the Nova Corps. Although the universe is vast, no matter how deeply or how well it's hidden, someone will eventually find it.
The universe is vast, but life is abundant.
"Everyone says I look like a Bodhisattva."
"But I don't have the heart of a bodhisattva."
[Yondu, hearing Rudeus's refusal, lifted the hem of his robe, revealing his arrows, and said, the threat in his tone unmistakable.]
"Give it to me quickly, child."
Yondu extended his hand to Rudeus and said...
Rudeus thought for a moment, then took out a device from his pocket to hold the Infinity Stones and placed it in Yondu's hand.
Yondu looked at the Sphere of Space handed to him, a satisfied smile spreading across his face. He then gestured to the Marauder army behind him, signaling them to retreat.
"Yondu."
Just as Yondu turned around, Rudeus called out to him.
"You absolutely mustn't open the cosmic orb, you know that, right?"
"You've seen its power too."
Rudius spoke in a tone that suggested he was doing it for your own good.
Yondu didn't say much, he just smiled at Rudeus.
"fake."
Sakayanagi Arisu remembered that the cosmic orb that was actually used to contain the Infinity Stones wasn't like that.
Yondu was unaware that the energy storm released by the Infinity Stones prevented him from seeing what was happening inside, nor did he know what the Orb containing the Infinity Stones actually looked like.
"Moreover, Rudius's seemingly concerned question was actually a further insurance policy."
"Of course, Rudius's sudden concern might not be effective, and could even be counterproductive."
"However, when Rudeus and his team were explaining their plan before their operation, it was emphasized that Rudeus's behavior after seizing the Infinity Stones would be crucial when Ronan landed."
"This further makes Rudius's reminder even more effective."
"If there hadn't been some foreshadowing, Yondu wouldn't have fallen for it."
"But now..."
Sakayanagi Arisu didn't finish her sentence, but her meaning was already very clear.
That is, Rudeus did not actually give the Infinity Stone to Yondu, but only gave him a fake one to deceive him.
However, due to various factors, Yondu is unwilling to open the Sphere to check whether the Infinity Stones are inside.
"So Rudius is wise in disguise."
Sakayanagi Arisu felt that Rudeus was holding back his true abilities, though this might be because Rudeus was genuinely foolish most of the time.
"Rudius, that kid, is actually quite sensible."
Onboard the Marauder ship, Yondu, holding the Orb of Destiny, looked down at the four Guardians of the Galaxy, while his subordinates praised Rudeus for his astute judgment.
"Perhaps not sending him there as his father requested was the right decision."
[Yondu's henchman said.]
Yondu's words, like a thunderclap, shrouded Rudeus's background in mystery.
542: Happy Dragon Boat Festival, everyone!
"Rudius's background doesn't seem to be simple."
"Or rather, the identity of Rudius's father after his reincarnation was not simple."
Looking at what Yondu's underlings were saying on the screen, L became certain that Rudeus was likely the factor that brought the Infinity Stones to a standstill.
"Of course, Rudeus may have been adopted on Earth, and his real biological father is not the one that was shown in the light screen before."
"Rudeus's true biological father commissioned the raiders to kidnap Rudeus from Earth and bring him to his side."
"However, Yondu, the leader of the Raiders Legion, did not fulfill this mission, but instead kept Rudeus by his side."
Light Yagami nodded in response to L's words.
"This does seem to explain why the raider army would come to Earth, such a tiny and almost insignificant planet in the universe, and just happen to kidnap Rudeus."
"However, there are still many hidden stories behind this."
"I guess we'll have to watch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to fully understand Rudeus's background."
"Yeah, Rudyus's dad was a complete jerk."
Yondu spoke particularly loudly, and after he finished speaking, the Marauder ship accelerated away from Xandar.
As for Rudeus, Yondu and the others said not to worry about him; kids grow up and always need some personal time.
"When Yondu discovers that I've switched the Orb in his hand..."
"He'll probably be furious."
