This is the least suspenseful time they've ever won a Slytherin Quidditch game.

The person on the other side was already sweating profusely with guilt.

very messy.

Gryffindor will definitely win!

"Quidditch Trophy, bonus points!"

"Yes, Professor, please think about it again!"

The Weasley twins also gathered around Professor McGonagall.

"Another attack has occurred. Everyone, return to your college's lounge. Don't make me say it twice!"

Professor McGonagall said sternly.

Then she turned her gaze to Harry.

“Harry…come with me…”

Her voice was softer than ever before.

But Harry felt no honor whatsoever; he was only terrified.

Even some students from other colleges have realized what's going on.

"Professor McGonagall, is it... has something happened to Darren?"

"A Slytherin girl asked."

Professor McGonagall did not answer.

She pursed her lips and said sternly, "Besides Harry Ron, you come too. Everyone else, go back. Someone in charge will tell you what to do!"

"Come on, Harry, and Ron... Liang."

Professor McGonagall said with pity and sadness.

Chapter 272 Darren lied to you!

Harry and Ron were so nervous they were trembling all over.

They had no idea what was happening and could only frantically follow Professor McGonagall's footsteps.

As they walked through several corridors and the crowd thinned out, Professor McGonagall, her eyes red, said, "There was a double attack this time, one by Hermione, and the other by Darren..."

She choked up a little.

But Harry and Ron were already in turmoil.

“Hermione… Darren was looking for Hermione… and couldn’t he have covered those eyes? How could this be… how could this be…”

Harry said in a trembling voice.

“Darren, you don’t need to worry too much. His legs have indeed been petrified.”

However, since he took the antidote Hermione, he might need the antidote at the end of the semester.

“But, but Darren said he could handle it… Isn’t he very strong? How could he…”

Harry still couldn't imagine it.

In his mind, Darren was very strong.

Even if Darren were captured, he firmly believed that Darren could come back.

If he wanted to come back, he would have had enough strength to do so. How could this have happened?

“Harry, Darren lied to you… He’s not invincible, he can no longer face that snake.”

It's very likely that next time, or the time after that, if he stands in front of someone else, he will die completely; his power will no longer be enough to withstand the attack.

Professor McGonagall said sadly.

That child always caused her heartache.

He knew he was finding it increasingly difficult to face the snake, yet he still struggled to help others.

"I knew it... I knew it... He's always like this, is he crazy?"

Harry gritted his teeth and roared.

But when he saw Darren lying quietly on the hospital bed through the curtain of the school clinic, his eyes involuntarily reddened.

"This child might not wake up until tomorrow... You don't need to worry about him. As for Hermione... sigh!"

Mrs. Pomfrey sighed softly.

"Let's go, let's go back!"

Professor McGonagall showed them Darren and Hermione briefly before urging them to leave.

When they returned to the common room, everyone gathered around them.

"Alright, everyone sit down, I'll speak!"

Professor McGonagall spoke indifferently.

Then she took out a piece of parchment and pasted it on the Gryffindor bulletin board.

The sign reads that, effective immediately, all students must remain in the lounge.

Food will be delivered to the lounge.

Even if you have important business to attend to outside, you must be back before 6 p.m.

"The principal is already planning to close the school; this may be the first time..."

Professor McGonagall spoke with a hint of bitterness.

Then, with red eyes, she awkwardly slipped out of the Gryffindor common room.

As soon as she left, the Gryffindor common room became incredibly anxious.

Everyone gathered around Harry.

"What happened? Who was it?" "Was it Darren?"

Why didn't Hememin come back with them?

They asked all sorts of questions at once.

The common room fell silent after learning that Darren and Hermione had been petrified.

Only Ginny's low sobs could be heard.

“Ginny is so sad, you know. Ever since she met you and Darren, she’s really taken a liking to you two.”

"She's heartbroken no matter which of you is in trouble."

Fred whispered in Harry's ear.

It was supposed to be a joke, but he just couldn't manage a smile.

Harry forced himself to nod.

He and Ron went back to their dorm.

Lying in bed, he thought about Darren's legs.

When he arrived, Darren's leg had not fully recovered.

And Hermione.

Hermione was petrified, but her face was still full of worry.

What did she see before she was petrified?

Harry felt his mind was in complete disarray.

He even wanted to rush out alone.

He wanted to find the snake; he wanted to kill it.

It almost killed Darren!

"I'm the older brother, I can't always rely on Darren to protect me!"

He suddenly sat up in bed.

Ron also sat up.

Harry glanced at Ron, and they nodded in unison.

Ready to leave.

"Ha, Harry, can you take me with you when you go out to look for clues?"

As Harry was thinking this, he heard Neville's deep, resonant voice.

He looked at Neville in astonishment.

He didn't understand why Neville thought that way.
