Darren suspected the boy might be worried that Snape would get angry if he heard the sound.

"In the prefect selection competition, even the prefects of the fifth grade can be replaced, challenged, or engaged in free competition."

As usual, we will select a grade level for a grade leader selection competition to set an example for first-year students.

Since last year's students were fourth graders, this year we will choose fifth graders.

Of course, students in fifth grade and above who do not intend to participate in the grade leader selection competition are free to leave!

Snape said coldly.

Darren saw Malfoy looking at him nervously, clearly afraid that he would suddenly try to take the prefectural seat from him. He pursed his lips and yawned again.

Then, he happily said, "Professor, I don't plan to participate. I'll go back first!"

Snape nodded. Darren quickly ran back to his dormitory.

Of course, he also heard a sixth-grade student say that he would not participate in the prefect selection competition either.

However, he was severely scolded by Snape.

The reason given is a lack of ambition and drive...

In short, Darren saw that the student had been scolded to tears.

Fortunately, by then he had already closed his dorm room door. The rest was none of his business.

……at the same time.

Harry is facing yet another fight in Gryffindor. This is common knowledge.

Even though Harry is the savior, he still had many arguments with his Gryffindor classmates.

It's the same this time.

Ron went to mentor the first-year students.

He returned to his Gryffindor dormitory alone. Seamus questioned him.

He said his mother didn't want him to come to school because she believed what was said in the Daily Prophet.

Harry was furious. He believed Harry was mentally ill, Dumbledore was a crazy old fraud, and Darren was a manufactured hero.

"If you believe me, then go find Professor McGonagall and ask to leave me alone!"

Simo was angered by his words.

However, he also wanted to express that he was not the kind of person who was easily swayed by others.

So he asked Harry to produce evidence proving that the projection was real and not fabricated.

Harry stared at him coldly.

He gritted his teeth and cursed, "You idiot, you should know perfectly well what Darren's strength is like, whether he's a manufactured powerhouse or not."

As for whether I have mental problems, and whether Dumbledore is a conman, since you feel that four years together isn't enough to understand me, then you shouldn't ask me anymore!

Harry shouted.

But judging from Simo's expression, he suspected even more that Simo was mentally ill...

Chapter 527 Mutual Dislike!

Harry felt he hadn't done anything wrong.

There was nothing wrong with his argument with Simon.

But inevitably, he felt a mixture of anger and pain.

This feeling of being misunderstood and disliked filled the eyes of most Gryffindor students.

He couldn't even imagine how Sleight of Squirrel would treat Darren if Gryffindor thought of him that way.

Was Darren being ganged up on and insulted by those people? He didn't sleep well all night.

First, there was the scene of Daren being insulted by those people.

Then Mondain was taken to the Forbidden Forest by those people, where Voldemort tortured him severely.

Finally, his dream returned to a mysterious corridor. There seemed to be some treasure there.

It tempted him to go there.

Harry didn't realize he'd been dreaming all night until Ron called him.

Harry looked really bad the next day.

He had assumed Darren would look the same, but he noticed that Darren's face was rosy and glowing.

He was walking towards them with a big smile on his face.

“Darren must have cast a psychic spell on himself. I heard it from Fred and the others; they overheard Dumbledore and the others talking.”

It is said that Darren used this spell throughout the summer vacation until the house-elves discovered it, at which point he stopped using it.

Or perhaps he used it in a more subtle way.

I knew it! How could Darren have slept so well last night?

He must have suffered some kind of torment, or stayed up all night, to have cast this spell on himself again!

Harry said worriedly.

However, he quickly shut his mouth after Darren approached and began asking Darren about what had happened the previous night.

Darren honestly told them that after he went back, Snape chose to start selecting prefects from the fifth grade.

He didn't participate; he went straight back to France to sleep.

But after he finished speaking, Harry and the others looked at him with disbelief and worry.

Because they had just heard a sixth-grade Snape berate a sixth-grader for not wanting to participate in the prefect selection contest.

It is said that the student cried.

Darren said he doesn't need to participate, how is that possible?

They suspected that Darren might have suffered inhuman torture, but he was unwilling to tell them.

Harry and his friends were filled with anger and unease.

But in the end, all I could think of was telling Blake about it as soon as possible.

Let him ask Dumbledore if there's any way to get Darren out of Slatelin.

They suspected that Darren would be driven mad by this! Darren, of course, had no idea what they were thinking.

He was working on a beef patty.

This is something he didn't get to eat at Strettlin's. Because they only had steamed buns there.

He plans to tell the house-elves sometime.

He's not a steamed bun fanatic; he doesn't need steamed buns for every meal.

"Looking at today's schedule is really unlucky. I really hope Fred and George can come up with some quick-fix skipping candy soon, so I won't have to take these kinds of classes!"

At this point, Ron received the Gryffindor course schedule.

History of Magic, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and their hated Divination class.

It was practically a group of four professors they hated the most.

"The prefect actually wants to skip class!"

Fred mocked Ron.

Ron wanted to shove his class schedule under his nose to show him how unlucky they were, but he refused.

"Stay away from me, Ron! You tore down the 'Skipping Class Candy' notice we made in the lounge!"

"I tore it!"

Hermione turned her head seriously.

She was just pouring juice for Darren.

But upon hearing Fred's words, she glared at them sharply.

"Don't hang those things in the lounge, or I'll tell Mrs. Wesley!"

Fred and George were frightened and ran away.

Hermione then wrapped a beef patty in parchment and handed it to Darren.

"Let's go, we'll eat on the way. I see the food on other tables starting to disappear."

Hermione stood up. Darren nodded.

He ate while glancing at Strettlin on the side.

He said warily, "Well, thank goodness they're not here, otherwise I'd be punished by copying the school rules!"

Harry and the others looked at them with sympathy and sorrow.
