Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!

Chapter 325: She Deserves It

Chapter 325: She Deserves It

Old Master Abbott listened in thunderous rage, pointing at Old Madam Abbott and cursing: "Without your son, she wouldn’t have committed suicide!"

"It’s been so many years, and all you know how to do is protect your son!"

Old Madam Abbott wasn’t about to take this lying down: "You only know how to blame me. Why did you let Shirley’s mother in after Shane Kensington left back then?"

Old Master Abbott was so angry that he nearly fainted: "Wasn’t it your son’s insistence on marrying her!" He clutched his heart and slumped into a chair, his face pale as if he might pass out at any moment: "I don’t even know what kind of sin I’ve committed!"

He was a man of integrity, yet because of his son Benson Abbott, he’d made a lot of mistakes he shouldn’t have.

All of this was because Benson was his only son.

For so many years abroad, he could still numb himself and live in denial.

But now that Shirley Abbott had returned to the country, old matters were being brought up again, one by one resurfacing in his mind, almost to the point where Old Master Abbott could have a stroke out of sheer rage.

He hadn’t treated his granddaughter badly, and since she excelled, he turned a blind eye to many things. However, she just had to enter the entertainment industry, and Benson supported her, wanting to return and start a company.

Old Master Abbott simply couldn’t accept this!

After a while, the family assistant came in, respectfully saying, "Sir, there is a call from within the country."

Old Master Abbott, in a foul mood, replied, "I won’t take it!"

The assistant said, "It’s from Old Mr. Kensington."

Old Master Abbott paused, then looked at the family assistant in disbelief.

Old Madam Abbott was also puzzled: "Why is the Kensington family calling us?"

Ever since the affair concerning Shane Kensington, Old Mr. Kensington had not contacted them for twenty years.

If they saw each other, it would be an ’I’d love to see them dead’ kind of relationship.

Old Master Abbott maintained a stern face but still told the family assistant to bring the phone in.

Mrs. Sutton personally cooked soup for Aurora Sutton in the evening.

Aurora had just received a call from Grandpa Kensington, who said he had contacted Old Master Abbott. The news nearly gave the man a heart attack.

Grandpa Kensington didn’t care; he only told the facts and waited to see Old Master Abbott’s reaction.

In the end, Old Master Abbott decided to return to the country to meet her.

Since things had been laid out like this, it meant they would be made public.

Aurora hesitated to tell Mrs. Sutton: "Grandpa said he wants to reveal my identity at Benson Abbott’s banquet."

This meant officially confronting Benson.

Catching Benson completely off guard.

Mrs. Sutton paused for a moment and sighed: "If this is what you’ve decided to do, then go ahead. No matter what, your father and I will always have your back, and so will your Grandpa."

"An assassination of the heart."

Thea Shaw joined in, seemingly in awe: "Shirley Abbott was just about to participate in a dance show, now the family itself delivers a backstab. How is she supposed to continue in the entertainment industry after this?"

Suddenly another daughter appears, and she is the true daughter of the Abbott family. The dynamics of high society will shift, and Shirley’s status will plummet instantly.

If this gets exposed further, she will be ridiculed to death before she even gains fame.

And she dreams of entering the entertainment industry? Her dream might die halfway through.

Mrs. Sutton sneered: "Who cares about her?"

With such events, it’s not something a claim of a child’s innocence can resolve.

Aurora hesitated for a moment, then said: "In some ways, it’s kind of pitiful."

Thea Shaw looked around: "There’s no one else here, be honest."

Aurora: "She deserves it."

Mrs. Sutton: "..."
