Shen Jue thanked Rong Kuo for his decision.After hanging up the phone, Shen Jue returned to the bedroom, still moving quietly as he lay beside her, pulling her back into his arms.
Every movement was gentle, fearing that he’d wake the person who had just fallen back asleep.
The next morning, Shen Jue instructed his mother, Guo Lan, to stay at Shen Manor to accompany Rong Qingqing. If she wasn’t busy in the study, she could take her for a walk around Shen Manor.
After giving instructions, he saw that Rong Qingqing hadn’t come downstairs yet, so he returned to the bedroom.
She was still asleep in bed when Shen Jue walked over and leaned down to give her a kiss.
Unexpectedly, that kiss woke her up.
